my last day in taiwan!!

so today is my last day in taiwan and we’re staying in an hotel near the airport so we dont have to leave our previous hotel at 5 to get to the airport on time.

so what was my last post about? i hella forgot when was the last time i had internet.

the last day of interest was i think 2 days ago? christmas day i believe. the 25th. it felt nothing like christmas day. but that day, my moms friend took us to get some really good beef noodle stew, but it wasnt as good as the one my dad makes. afterwards they just dragged me around with them to shop. as usual. hella fucking boring. afterwards, i met up with my uncle and aunt and went to a pretty good shanghai restaurant. oh yeah, ive been having taiwan beer almost every night ive been here. the legal drinking age in taiwan is only 18!

then yesterday, uncle took us somewhere for hainan ji fan. or hainan style chicken and rice. i always hated that cuz it reeks of ginger, so i didnt eat much. then i got back to the hotel to meet up at the metro station close by to meet rayk and kevin lo. yes they’re in taiwan too and we got to meet up. though kevin was sorta hella late, we got to go to xi men ding together and play games and look around together, and ghosted random people lol. we also ate at the toilet restaurant together. pictures from there go on fb later, and maybe here. i dont often put pictures here. anyways, i had to leave to go to my family dinner, so iono what ray and kevin did after i left, but i proceeded with my parents and uncle on to a taxi to yunghe to a restaurant for some giant family reunion thing.

the dinner deserves a paragraph on its own, because i met some cousins that i dont consciously remember having met, and some that i havent seen since i was like 4, and other relatives i havent met. they all seem like good personalities, and interesting since htey were all different. one which i had last seen 4 years ago looks the same, but i didnt get to talk to her much since we only had that night to see each other. she would always take me places and talk to me the most when i was there, but i didnt get to talk to her much which makes me sad. oh well, most of my cousins were busy around this time anyways. i saw another of my cousins whom i thought was closer to my age since we would play together when i was around 4. turns out he was 5 years older than me, which is sorta a lot. he seems to have grown up pretty well, but didnt talk to me much, probably due to the language barrier. i met 2 other cousins i have never consciously known before. one was sorta weird, like the tight khaki, fanny pack, manga-reading kinda weird. but socially he wasnt that awkward. he was the only one who really tried to talk to me. his sister seemed like a real downer. like when she saw me she didnt know who i was and once she found out she was just like “oh. hi.” not the “OMG ITS BEEN FOREVERRR” kinda person. sorta funny how thats sorta the polar opposite of me. anyways when i tried to talk to them, i could literally SEE the barriers of language in front of me. like great adamantium shields of final fantasy, i was cursed to speak broken chinese and had to ask my parents for translations. if it wasnt for the language barrier i would be like social butterfly or some shit, but poo. at least my mandarin has improved from being here. next time i come here, my chinese is gonna be better and im gonna spend more itme with my cousins.

so today is my last full day in taiwan before i leave for hk, and i spent it with my uncle and aunt taking us to a differnet hotel in taiyuan, outside of taipei, and to this different city that was pretty boring. the only thing to see was the ocean. i was in a pretty shitty mood since my mom was yeling at me for taking too long in the bathroom and hella stressing, and then it was again one of those days where my parents drag me along with them to places where i cant do anything and i just follow them around, help them take pictures, and carry their bags. it started raining, so we retired to the hotel early to my relief, and THEY HAVE INTERNET HERRREEE. so here i am blogging away.

next post is from hk. or home. teehee. MORE LANGUAGE BARRIERS IN HK.

so i finally have time to blog.

ive been coming home really late for the past few nights in taiwan.

THE PAST

  • uncle and aunt took me to xi men ding. did some shopping, bought some presents, went to the toilet restuarant for ice cream, and to go to a really good place 50lan for good milk tea.
  • went to a shanghai restaurant for dinner with some family friends.
  • a family friend who is only 2 years older than me took me to the xiling night market. played a bunch of games and got milk tea there.
  • went to dim sum the next day with more family friends.
  • went to uncles house and played with his cats. LOl
  • had japanese food and then came home.

THE FUTURE

  • HOPEFULLY meeting up with rayk and kevinlo either tomorrow or the day after. i still have to meet up with them.
  • if we meet up the day after tomorrow, ill ask them to go karaoke with me and some of my cousisn i think. then after that im going to dinner with family. like a big reunion thing.
  • later we’re going to like mid-taiwan to some other city where daddy used to work. or something like that. my parents dont really tell me what we’re gonna do x.x

AFTER TAIWAN IS HK for like 2 days. dunno what ill do there other than eat since i cant meet up with anyone there.

I STILL CANT ACCESS FACEBOOK. it worked for like a little bit earlier but now it doesnt anymore. this internet is digital shit.

i woke up this morning, and felt like p diddy, so i went to the gym and had a long stretch + sit up + choreography session in the small studio part. im happy that i have retained my left splits, but my right hamstring has been hurting really bad for the past week and its bothersome. ill go take a warm bath with my leg and maybe itll get better.

i hate how it dont feel like xmas eve here. SANTA COME TO MEHHHH.

now if i only i could go on facebook to get rayks or klos #s to call them to plan for tomorrow. i can only wait for them on aim right now. x.x

HELLO FROM TAIPEI!

so after approximately 21 hours of airplanes, airports, and travel, i made it here to taiwan!! it is currently 2 AM and i just ate a bowl of instnat noodles and im not exremely tired. however, i am too tired to recall all my memories of the planes, so ill sum it up.

I flew on ANA, and the food was pretty good for airplane food. however, the temperatures went from like cold to really hot after a while and i woke up sweating multiple times. not the good deal. i tried studying for SAT on the plane but it didnt work cuz its just a horrible environment for it.

im staying at the sherwood hotel in taipei and our room is pretty modern and nice. our bathroom is big too, having a shower AND a bath tub. im glad to be staying here for the next 5-6 days.

dont know how often ill blog while im in here since internet is pretty limited. we have to pay for it D: if i can find free internet ill go abuse it. if only this hotel internet would let facebook load x.x

I really like your hugs. I’ll never say that aloud, but even though you don’t know me that well, whenever you hug me, I get a nice, warm, fuzzy feeling. (100% platonic btw)

LET’S WEAR OUR MATCHING AA JACKETS MOAR.

thank you anonymous Aa jacket wearer. i can take a few guesses who this is, but yes i do like hugs too LOL. and what does platonic mean?

see you later, americans.

in approximately 7 and a half hours, ill be out of this freshly remodeled home, out of the comforting cotton sheets and the pillow of perfect consistency of my bed, and on my way to SFO for ASIA. Taiwan and HK to be more exact.

I’ve packed my carryon with SAT books, my ds, ipod, various sweets, etc.

Oya i got a new ipod today since i opened my xmas presents earliy :] its like gold and shiny and delicious. it takes videos too. i also got yellow headphones with it :DD.

i cant really stay up too long so ill cut it short. cassie and xtine came over to spend some time with me (gaming) before i left. and then i packed, redyed my hair with sisters help (theres a blue spot on my scalp lawl) and now im about to go to sleep.

my least favorite part about going on vacation is knowing that youll be pretty out of contact witha  bunch of people. i always end up tearing up a little bit before the plane takes off, or when i leave the car to enter the airport. Thats why ill do my absolute best to update on how taiwan and hk are, and talk to people and stuff. What i hate most is that i didnt get a chance to talk to the people i wanted to just tell them that ill miss them a lot. i cant really rest easy until i can do so, but ill have to live. oh well. its not like that person would really give a shit anyways.

ill bring some paper to write letters with too in case i get that QQ pensive feeling.

ill miss y’all!!

and i apologize if i come back really fobby. i pbb wont tho LOL.

LATER BITCHEESSS.

CLARA MA if you see this, IM COMING FOR YOU.
