FOOD RECENTS!
On Saturday, I invited Duncalina over for breakfast at the JeffCar! I served eggs and toast with sliced bratwurst and a PomX Nectarine Tea Spritzer (recipe below) before a day of fun in SF!
Then today, I found this odd plant in my backyard. My mom said it looked like corn earlier with like a husk leaf thing over it but it was dry so she peeled it off and this kernel thing appeared! Took one of the kernels off and then sliced it open. Oddly enough it smelled like bell peppers. Maybe it’s a bell pepper plant? DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE HELL THIS IS??

PomX Nectarine Tea Spritzer
Ingredients:
- 2 bottles of PomX Passion Peach White Tea
- 1 Medium Nectarine
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- Pomegranate Syrup (I used Torani but you can not be a lazyass like me and make your own!)
- Sprite
- Ice
- Slice 3-4 wedges of nectarine, and then dice the rest.
- Toss the nectarine and the sugar together and set aside to macerate for a bit.
- Place ice, nectarines, and a pump (or tablespoon) of pomegranate syrup into the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
- Shake away!
- Pour into glass and then top off with Sprite.
- Garnish with nectarine wedge.
